The HoleMole Wall Applicator with SpeedNut adapts the HoleMole core-hole filling method for suitable vertical concrete openings. The selected Mole is connected to its threaded rod, collapsed and inserted horizontally through the prepared core. Once the former has opened beyond the rear face, the rod is pulled back so the Mole seats behind the wall.
The threaded rod passes through the Wall Applicator, which is positioned and fastened against the accessible wall face in accordance with the approved installation method. The included SpeedNut holds the rod and Mole in place. Compatible repair material can then be placed through the chute at the top of the applicator, supporting a controlled fill from one side of the wall.
HoleMole sizes #2 to #5 feature bendable positioning tabs intended to assist resting position and wall applications. The opening must still be measured carefully, and the chosen Mole must provide the seating and overlap required by the manufacturer’s method and project specification. Repair mortar or grout must also be suitable for vertical placement and for any structural, fire, acoustic or waterproofing performance required by the project.

How to Use
How to Use the HoleMole Wall Applicator
- Measure the clear wall opening and select the correctly sized Mole. Prepare the concrete and repair material to the approved specification.
- Connect the threaded rod to the Mole, fold the perimeter sections and insert the former horizontally through the opening.
- Pull the rod towards the accessible face so the Mole opens and seats correctly against the rear of the wall. Adjust applicable positioning tabs only as directed by the manufacturer’s method.
- Pass the rod through the Wall Applicator, position the applicator against the wall and secure it using the project-approved fixing method.
- Depress the SpeedNut plunger, slide it into position, release the plunger and turn the nut to hold the rod and former securely.
- Place the suitable repair material through the top chute, complete the finish and leave the assembly undisturbed until the specified set has been achieved.
- Remove the SpeedNut and applicator in accordance with the method statement, then inspect and clean the reusable equipment.
