HoleMole is a three-stage core-hole filling system designed to help contractors support and fill concrete openings from the working level. It reduces the need to access the floor below, fix temporary boards or bring in additional access equipment for routine openings.

A smarter core-hole repair method

Prepare concrete core holes without boarding from below

HoleMole uses a collapsible galvanised-steel former that is lowered through the opening and pulled back against the underside of the slab. A reusable stand, fast-action SpeedNut and formed chute then let the installer support and fill the opening from the same working level.

How to use HoleMole

The HoleMole 3-step process

Select the Mole that overlaps the opening correctly, prepare the concrete and repair material to the project specification, then complete these three stages.

Lower the Mole through the opening

Attach the threaded rod to the correctly sized Mole. Fold the one-way sections and lower the former through the core hole. Once it has cleared the underside, pull the rod upwards so the Mole seats firmly below the slab. Prepare the opening in line with the site specification.

Secure it with the Mole Stand

Place the stand over the opening and guide the threaded rod through its centre slot. Press the SpeedNut plunger, slide the nut down the rod, then release and turn it to final-tighten. The former is now held securely in position ready for filling.

Fill, finish and remove the stand

Slide the Speed Chute into the stand and place the specified repair material through it into the opening. Finish the material flush with the surrounding surface. After it has achieved the required set, remove the reusable stand and trim or break off the rod as directed by the approved method statement.
