HoleMole Speed Chute – Core-Hole Filling Accessory
Description
HoleMole Speed Chute – Controlled Core-Hole Filling
- Formed 10-gauge aluminium: Provides a robust, reusable path for placing the selected repair material.
- Directs material centrally: Guides grout or compatible repair compound towards the centre of the prepared core opening.
- Fits the Mole Stand: Slides securely into the stand slots at a slight angle for controlled pouring from above.
The HoleMole Speed Chute is the reusable filling accessory used during the third stage of the horizontal HoleMole installation process. After the Mole has been seated beneath the concrete slab and its threaded rod secured to the Mole Stand with a SpeedNut, the chute is inserted into the stand ready for material placement.
Manufactured from formed 10-gauge aluminium, the Speed Chute sits at a slight angle and guides the specified filling material towards the centre of the core hole. This helps the installer place grout or compatible repair compound from the working level while keeping the pour directed into the opening rather than across the surrounding slab surface.
The Speed Chute does not determine the performance of the finished repair. The grout, mortar or other filling material must be selected separately for the substrate, hole dimensions and any required structural, fire, acoustic or waterproofing properties. The opening must be prepared and filled in accordance with the project specification and material manufacturer’s instructions.
Once the repair has reached the correct stage, the chute can be removed, cleaned and returned to the HoleMole kit for reuse. Cable Glands UK supplies the HoleMole Speed Chute throughout the UK as an individual replacement accessory or as part of selected HoleMole system bundles.

FAQs
What Is the HoleMole Speed Chute For?
The Speed Chute guides grout or compatible concrete repair material through the Mole Stand and towards the centre of a prepared core hole during an above-slab HoleMole installation.
What is the Speed Chute made from?
It is formed from 10-gauge aluminium.
Does it attach to the Mole Stand?
Yes. The chute slides securely into the stand slots at a slight angle.
Can it be used with all five Mole sizes?
The same filling accessory is used with the Mole Stand across the standard HoleMole system. The correct Mole must still be chosen for the opening.
Is repair grout included?
No. Select and purchase the repair material separately according to the project requirements.
Can the Speed Chute be reused?
Yes. Remove residue promptly, then inspect the chute before its next installation.
Is the Speed Chute used with the Wall Applicator?
The vertical Wall Applicator has its own top filling route. The separate Speed Chute is designed to slide into the horizontal Mole Stand.
